EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH FREE RANGE FILMS

PRODUCER : Cape Town
Free Range Films are looking for an experienced producer of colour for a 13 x 24 minutes SABC Education documentary series. The applicant should be able to handle a big project small budget production and maintain good relations with the relevant client. Applicants should have a good understanding of and sensitivity to South Africa’s complex landscape. Free Range Films will interview in January to begin in February 2008. Period of job is 3 - 4 months.

PRODUCTION / POST-PRODUCTION ASSISTANT: Cape Town
Free Range Films has an intern position for 3 - 4 months for someone fresh out of film school, who may have majored in editing. If you are passionate about putting stories together, this will be an opportunity for you to gain invaluable experience.

Applicants need to be fluent in English plus another/a few other South African language/s (preferably not only Afrikaans), to be organised, to understand the importance of systems, to have a valid driver's licence, and to be technically inclined.
