Docs in Thessaloniki - Call for Proposals

Docs in Thessaloniki is an international pitching forum, where you can develop your documentary project and pitch it to a panel of international financiers. The forum is an outstanding opportunity to create alliances with future collaborators and co-producers as well as network with colleagues in a relaxed and constructive atmosphere.

Docs in Thessaloniki takes place on March 18-22, 2009. Deadline for submitting a project is on January 25, 2009.

Docs in Thessaloniki consists of a five-day programme, where 21 selected documentary projects will be developed, re-written and pitched. After a three day workshop Docs in Thessaloniki concludes with two days of pitching, where all participants pitch their projects to a panel of 12-15 international financiers from leading broadcasters. After the pitching, scheduled individual meetings are organised for in-depth discussions about future collaboration.
