Cape Winelands Film Festival Call For Entries

The 5th annual Cape Winelands Film Festival announced their "2012 Call For Entries" for all of its categories and genres including features, documentaries, shorts and animation. The Cape Winelands Film Festival will run from March 14th - 24th at the Oude Libertas Wine farm in Stellenbosch as well as various other venues like the Artscape and Fugard Theatre in Cape Town. The Festival will be capped off by the annual prestigious Awards Gala on March 24th 2012.

"In these times, when funding for independent films is sparse and distribution acquisitions are tight, a festival run is more crucial than ever for the exhibition of promising cinematic works," said festival founder Leon van der Merwe, "We at the Cape Winelands Film Festival continue to provide an A-plus platform for burgeoning filmmakers to showcase their passion projects before their friends, film lovers, and the industry at large."
